Sawhorsing Valentine Springerle Cookie

Soft and tender Valentine cookie with an almost cakey texture and traditional wedding pattern, flavored with a bit of anise and fragrant orange blossom water and lemon.

Sawhorsing is an Italian wedding tradition where newlyweds saw a log apart using a double handle saw. The completion of this task symbolizes their partnership.

Every Wednesday, through the end of February, fans of the Crixa Cakes Facebook page will see a "secret word". You can use the secret word in our cafe on that day to receive a special deal.
